As it is written in the prophet Isaiah,
See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way;
the voice of one crying out in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight.” – Mark 1:2-3

This weekend we prepare for the coming of our Lord in history, mystery, and majesty, and our Gospel lesson asks us to consider the ways that God comes to us in the wilderness places and seasons of our lives. Be sure to mark your calendars for our Christmas Eve worship services at 9:30 AM (Pastor Kochenderfer preaching), 4:00 PM (Family Service with a special focus on the young and the young at heart), 7:00 PM (Candlelight service with choirs), and 10:00 PM (Candlelight with instrumentalists and soloists).
