“I am the good shepherd. The Good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” – John 10:11 This weekend, we gather to give thanks for Christ who promises to shepherd us beyond our wants, beyond our fears from death to life.

Jesus himself stood among the disciples and said to them, “Peace be with you.” This weekend we encounter the risen Christ who appears to us in the midst of our doubts and fears and empowers us to go out and serve as his hands and feet in the world.
