” Crown him the Lord of life, who triumphed o’er the grave and rose victorious in the strife for those he came to save.  His glories now we sing, who died and rose on high, who died eternal life to bring  and lives that death may die.”

This weekend we conclude our church calendar year and our assigned readings from the Gospel of Matthew.  (Next week we begin the season of Advent and our journey through the Gospel of Mark.) In worship, we celebrate Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the One who died and was raised for us, and the One who  promises to make all things new.
