Then Jesus said to them, “The sabbath was made for humankind. and not humankind for the sabbath; so the Son of Man is Lord of even of the Sabbath.” – Mark 2:27-28
Our weekend reflection reminds us of what can happen when we adhere to the letter of the Law without considering the Spirit or purpose of the Law in our life together. When we gather for worship this Sunday @ 9:30, we will spend more time looking at our second lesson (2 Corinthians 4:5-12) while praying for and blessing our high school graduates.
