“Master, now you are dismissing your servant in peace,
according to your word;

a light for revelation to the Gentiles
and for glory to your people Israel.” – Luke 2:29-32
40 days after Christmas, Mary and the Christ Child appear in the Temple for purification and dedication. Jesus is revealed from the very beginning as a light to the nations and the hope of our salvation.
