Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it; and he sat on it. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches that they had cut in the fields. Then those who went ahead and those who followed were shouting,

‘Hosanna!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Blessed is the coming kingdom of our ancestor David!

Hosanna in the highest heaven!’”  – Mark 11:7-10

We look forward to seeing many of you at Palm Sunday worship this weekend  as we bless and distribute Palms, participate in a joyous procession (including children at 10:45), hear the story of Christ’s mighty acts in and around Jerusalem, and  celebrate Holy Communion together. However, if you are unable to join us, here is a message on the events of Palm Sunday, what it meant for those gathering, and what it means for us today.

We hope that many of you will be able to join us for next week’s Holy Week observances as well as we journey from despair to joy, darkness to light, and death to life.
