Position Overview
We are looking for a caring and dependable Aide Teacher to join our classroom team. In this role, you will support the Lead Teacher with daily activities and help create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable to explore, learn, and grow. The Aide Teacher plays an important role in helping each child feel valued, supported, and encouraged throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher with daily routines and classroom activities
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children
- Support classroom organization and help maintain a clean, orderly space
- Encourage kindness, cooperation, and positive interactions among children
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to meet the needs of each child
- Follow all school policies and state licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or educational setting
- CDA or Associate’s degree in a related field
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet PA Department of Education requirements
