“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever. ” – John 6:51
In this week’s Gospel reading, we are reminded that we are indeed what we eat. And iit is in the mystery of this holy meal that we share that we not only discover our connectedness with Christ and one another. We discover that we in fact become the body of Christ, his hands and feet and living voice for the sake of the world.
