Every year, our Sunday School selects a local charity to collect items for throughout the Lenten Season. This year, we will be collecting items for Mom’s House in Phoenixville.
Mom’s House provides a unique family support system, including free state-licensed childcare, for low income, single parents while they are pursuing their full-time education and becoming independent members of society.
The needed items for this collection include: Diaper wipes, Paper plates and bowls, Plastic silverware, Paper Towels, Non-latex gloves for diapering, Canned fruits and veggies, Goldfish crackers, teddy grahams, individual applesauce and fruit cups, New children’s clothes, especially spring/summer size 18M-4T (note that we cannot accept used clothing, Gift cards for needed supplies to run the center and to gift to our clients (Acme, Giant, Target, Wal-Mart, Wawa, Amazon). You can also donate money for supplies via the envelopes in the pews marked “Lenten Project” or through our website Lenten Project Donation. Contact Nicole Kruvczuk for more information. Thank you so much for your generous support!
